Working closely with M&E operations, Finance, Technology, and platform vendors, the role ensures our MBO and associated finance systems capabilities are scalable, automated, and aligned to the needs of our M&E teams and customers globally.

What You\'ll Do

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the M&E Single Operating Model programme and the broader Finance Systems strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria for development & QA teams.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, maintaining a continuous and well-groomed backlog.
  • Work closely with adjacent Finance Systems product managers across invoicing, payments, and finance modules to ensure M&E requirements are represented consistently across the wider product portfolio.
  • Act as the escalation point for M&E product prioritisation and cross-product dependency management.
  • Use data and insights to define and track key success metrics. Prioritise initiatives that deliver real-world business and customer value.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation across M&E operational and financial workflows, reducing manual intervention and improving consistency across markets.
  • Proactively solicit feedback from stakeholders and end users on an ongoing basis, incorporating insights into backlog prioritisation and roadmap planning to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to M&E operations and finance systems, continuously identifying opportunities to improve our product approach and delivery.

Requirements Management

  • Collaborate with M&E operational leaders, regional market teams, Finance stakeholders, and the wider Finance Systems product team to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to understand current state M&E processes and define the target state.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly documented and communicated to the technical team in a format that enables accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Continuously review and refine requirements based on feedback received throughout delivery.
  • Development Oversight
  • Work closely with technical and development teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of M&E MBO features and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular sprint reviews and participate actively in the agile development process.
  • Act as the key finance systems product contact for M&E operational platform and MBO vendors, aligning vendor roadmaps and delivery plans with internal priorities.
  • Work closely with M&E operational leaders, regional market teams, Finance stakeholders, and Finance Systems colleagues to understand pain points, prioritise enhancements, and validate outcomes.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders on an ongoing basis, incorporating insights into backlog prioritisation and roadmap planning.
  • Support M&E commercial, customer and onboarding teams with clear definitions of product capabilities and constraints.
  • Support L2/L3 support teams with product knowledge, issue prioritisation, and root cause resolution.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Define testing requirements and work closely with QA teams to ensure the product meets high quality standards before release.
  • Ensure defects are clearly documented, prioritised, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct and coordinate user acceptance testing to validate that delivered features meet stakeholder expectations.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to M&E MBO platform performance and adoption.
  • Use data and insights to inform prioritisation decisions and demonstrate the value delivered by the product team.
  • Regularly review performance metrics with stakeholders to refine the roadmap and ensure delivery remains aligned to business outcomes.
  • Continuously review delivered capabilities post-release, using performance data and stakeholder feedback to identify further improvement opportunities.

Governance, Controls & Documentation

  • Produce and maintain clear product documentation including functional specifications, release notes, and capability guides to support learning and development teams, other product teams, and our support teams.
  • Ensure documentation is kept current as the product evolves and new capabilities are released.
  • Ensure M&E MBO products meet regulatory, compliance, and financial control requirements across all operating markets.
  • Partner with Finance, Tax and Risk teams to ensure compliance and governance requirements are embedded into product design.
  • Support audits and governance reviews with clear documentation and process transparency.
