As a Business Development Manager at Corporate Traveller, you will own the full business development cycle from identifying new prospects to presenting solutions and securing long‑term client partnerships. Your goal is to grow our client portfolio by helping businesses manage travel more efficiently.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage new clients, seeking opportunities through networking, referrals, and lead generation, building relationships with key decision‑makers and maintaining consistent contact to position Corporate Traveller as a trusted partner.
- Understand client needs and deliver consultative solutions: take a solution‑selling approach to uncover prospects’ travel challenges, booking behaviours, and business objectives; present Corporate Traveller’s technology, service offering, and expert support to demonstrate clear value.
- Present and close new business: run engaging sales presentations, demonstrate online booking tools, negotiate effectively, and guide prospects through the decision‑making process to secure new partnerships.
- Support onboarding and handover: ensure a smooth transition for new clients by overseeing onboarding and introducing them to their travel team, setting them up for long‑term success from day one.
- Build pipeline and market presence: develop strong referral networks and grow your pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship‑management activities.
- Maintain strong commercial discipline: manage your CRM, complete follow‑ups and administration, and work toward sales targets, KPIs, and turnover goals set by your manager.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a Business Development Manager role focused on B2B sales.
- Proven ability to work in a consultative / solution‑selling environment.
- A self‑motivated, target‑driven individual who thrives in a sales environment and enjoys achieving KPIs.
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
