About Flightstory: We are a media and investment company, and we are on a mission to elevate the stories, build the communities, and support the founders that inspire a happier, healthier humanity. We scale creator-led media, ventures and communities.
ROLE MISSION: Build the marketing engine behind our unmistakable creator led media brands in the interest economy. Define how attention is earned, captured, and compounded across our brands, and help answer one of the biggest questions in media today: what is the future of marketing for the creator age.
KEY OUTCOMES:
- Turn virality into a repeatable system (format logic, share triggers, remix ability) instead of a lucky one off post.
- Design a channel strategy where every platform has a clear job (discovery, depth, capture, habit) and performance is judged on audience quality, not vanity metrics.
- Build the playbooks that get our content travelling credibly across platforms, streamers, and third party media.
- Convert attention into owned, durable audiences through email, community, membership, and events.
- Partner with BI to build first party data loops that make every campaign smarter than the last.
- Own cultural calendars so brands show up with timing and intent, not reactive scrambling.
- Shape a creator merch strategy where drops feel like brand moments, not interruptions.
- Build a fast, disciplined test and learn culture: know what to test, what to scale, what to kill.
- Build and lead a high performance marketing team and set the standards the whole portfolio runs on.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Systems led growth: you design engines, not campaigns.
- Deep fluency in the interest economy: how attention forms, spreads, converts, and decays.
- Channel expertise at a portfolio level, not a content calendar level.
- Strong grip on platform, streamer, and syndication distribution.
- Track record turning attention into owned audiences, powered by data.
- Sharp brand and cultural instincts, especially on timing.
- Senior presence: comfortable setting direction and saying no under pressure.
YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF:
- You want to build systems, not run channels.
- You see virality as engineered, not accidental.
- You're happiest making hard calls on focus and sequencing.
- You love working with creators and protecting their long term brand equity.
- You think in multi brand, multi channel systems.
- You're data led and allergic to guesswork.
- You want a high standards, high pace environment.
IDEAL BACKGROUND: Senior marketing leader with experience scaling brands in media, entertainment, creator economy, or consumer platforms. Proven success building owned audience channels, leading distribution partnerships, and running high output, high accountability marketing teams across multiple brands at once.
