Transcending the \"Super App\" model, Zymix fuses hyper-social interaction with a seamless service layer, empowering global youth to integrate a wide range of services beyond social networking, discover Al-curated experiences, and unlock essential services in one fluid motion. We are redefining the platform economy by prioritising authenticity, community, and friction-free living.

About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing and Events Intern to support campaigns, campus activity and events that connect with young audiences across the UK. You’ll help turn team briefs into engaging content and well-organised experiences, working closely with the marketing and events team on day-to-day delivery. This role suits someone early in their career who brings practical experience, strong cultural awareness and enthusiasm for getting involved.

Campus Culture & Audience Insights

  • Keep track of UK student culture, campus calendars, youth trends and competitor activity, sharing useful ideas with the team.
  • Help gather student feedback through surveys, conversations and event observations, summarising what resonates with different campus communities.
  • Research students’ unions, societies and campus opportunities to help the team shape relevant campaigns and activations.

Event Planning & On-site Support

  • Assist with planning campus pop-ups, freshers’ activity, student events and brand activations, preparing checklists, schedules and event materials.
  • Support venue and supplier coordination, invitations, registrations, merchandise and equipment logistics, following agreed plans and budgets.
  • Provide hands-on support at events, including set-up, attendee welcome, ambassador briefings, content capture and pack-down.
  • Help coordinate student societies and campus ambassadors, maintain attendance records and collect feedback for post-event summaries.

Marketing, Content & Creator Support

  • Assist with social posts, campaign copy, newsletters and short-form event content, using approved briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Research UK creators and influencers across student life, lifestyle, entertainment and other relevant interests; maintain shortlists and support outreach, briefing and deliverable tracking under the team’s guidance.

Campaign Administration & Reporting

  • Keep campaign calendars, contact lists, event trackers and project files up to date; follow up on agreed actions and flag delays early.
  • Compile basic campaign and event results, such as attendance, engagement and sign-ups, and help prepare concise reports and recommendations.

About you

  • Ideally 6 months - 1 year of relevant experience, gained in industry or through a placement in marketing, events, brand activation or a related role.
  • Experience working with youth-based brands, with an understanding of how to communicate authentically with young audiences would be a bonus.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK university campus culture, including students’ unions, societies, freshers’ activity, student events and the academic calendar.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of UK-based creators and influencers, with the ability to suggest relevant partners based on audience, content style and brand fit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence speaking with students and partners, and an understanding of TikTok and Instagram content.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several tasks, maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach: comfortable following briefs, asking questions, taking responsibility for assigned tasks and helping on site at events.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting campus activations, experiential marketing or student events.
  • Existing connections with UK student societies, campus ambassadors or creators.
  • Experience capturing and editing short-form video using tools such as CapCut.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, CRM or social scheduling tools.
  • Confidence using Canva and spreadsheets to prepare materials and track activity.

Why Zymix

  • Help bring a youth-focused brand to life through campus campaigns and real-world experiences.
  • Build a category-defining product for UK and European Gen-Z from day one.
  • Small senior team, direct access to leadership, fast decision-making.
  • Private healthcare through AXA from day 1. Including group income protection and group life cover.
  • Vibrant Soho office with free breakfast and afternoon snacks, weekly happy hour & more.
  • Competitive salary (DOE) + benefits package.
