Zymix is the definitive lifestyle ecosystem for the digital generation-bridging the gap between social connection and real-world experience. Transcending the "Super App" model, Zymix fuses hyper-social interaction with a seamless service layer, empowering global youth to integrate a wide range of services beyond social networking, discover Al-curated experiences, and unlock essential services in one fluid motion. We are redefining the platform economy by prioritising authenticity, community, and friction-free living.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, Mandarin speaking IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. You will be the go-to technical expert for local and remote employees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is highly hands-on, blending traditional service desk troubleshooting with a fleet-wide device management migration, physical office workspace setups, and the architecture/optimisation of our IT ticketing infrastructure.

Daily IT Support & On/Offboarding

  • Serving as the friendly, go-to person for all daily staff tech issues (Wi-Fi drops, password resets, printer issues, access to files).
  • Managing the end-to-end tech setup for all new hires.
  • Offboarding staff by revoking app access, collecting their hardware, and securely wiping devices for reuse.
  • Creating and managing user accounts in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Slack, and Adobe.

Ticket System Setup & Management

  • Setting up and managing a lightweight, easy-to-use ticketing tool (like Jira Product Discovery, Zendesk, or Freshdesk) so our 30 team members can easily report issues.
  • Setting up simple rules (e.g. alerts when someone submits an "Urgent" request, like a broken laptop).
  • Writing brief, jargon-free guides for the team (e.g., "How to connect to the office printer" or "How to use the meeting room TV").

New System Onboarding & Full Device Switchover

  • Helping evaluate and configure our new device management system (Hexnode) — tenant setup, enrolment profiles, security baselines, and app deployment packages.
  • Planning and executing the switch of company devices (laptops and phones) onto the new system. This means scheduling the migration in waves, backing up and wiping devices, re-enrolling and restoring them whilst keeping downtime to a minimum for each user.
  • Handling device ownership transfers between Apple Business Manager / Windows Autopilot tenants, managing Apple ID and user account transitions, and cleanly unenrolling devices from the outgoing platform.
  • Ensuring every migrated device is encrypted, compliant, and automatically receiving critical system updates so our data stays safe.
  • Using the migration to true up our asset register — confirming who has what laptop, monitor and phone, and keeping that log accurate.
  • Telling staff clearly what's changing and when, and being on hand for any problems that may arise after a device moves across.

Office Setup & Workplace Technology

  • Assembling, cable-managing, and maintaining physical desk setups.
  • Making sure our meeting rooms and video screens (Zoom/Teams) work perfectly.
  • Checking that the office Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and troubleshooting with the internet provider if it goes down.
  • Configuring and maintaining our small, physical on-site tech closet.

About you

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable managing both Apple MacBooks and Windows laptops.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one standard MDM platform and a basic ticketing system. Having been through a platform migration or a fleet-wide re-enrolment before is a strong advantage.
  • Happy working with physical hardware, from plugging in office routers to mounting monitor arms.
  • Great communication skills—no tech-snobbery. You enjoy helping people solve their tech headaches.
  • You need to be comfortable managing your own time and prioritising tasks, including running a multi-week rollout alongside daily support.
  • Native or professional fluency in Mandarin (written and verbal) is a bonus.

Why Zymix

  • Build a category-defining product for UK and European Gen-Z from day one.
  • Small senior team, direct access to leadership, fast decision-making.
  • Private healthcare through AXA from day 1. Including group income protection and group life cover.
  • Vibrant Soho office with free breakfast and afternoon snacks, weekly happy hour & more.
  • Competitive salary (DOE) + benefits package.
