We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to support the day-to-day people operations of our growing business. This role will play a key part in delivering a smooth employee experience across the full HR lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and policy implementation. You will work closely with management and employees to ensure HR processes are effective, compliant, and aligned with the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, probation, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing clear and practical guidance.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including absence management, performance processes, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and offer documentation, as required.
  • Support payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting in collaboration with finance and external providers.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UK employment law and internal governance requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator, or similar people operations role.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and managers across different teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting HR processes in a fast-growing or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools (e.g. HRIS, payroll platforms).
