About the Role
We are working with a GP Surgery to recruit a General Practitioner (GP) for a locum opportunity starting in September, offering 3–4 days per week with a flexible working pattern. This role is ideal for a GP seeking a better work-life balance, while still working within a well-structured and supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary care consultations (face-to-face and/or remote)
- Manage a routine and acute patient caseload
- Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical care
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Practice Overview
- Patient list size of approximately 6,500
- 15-minute standard appointments
- Heidi transcription software to reduce admin time
- Automated lab reporting systems
- Docman workflow system with typically 7–10 letters per day
- On-site parking available
