About the Role\n
We are recruiting a friendly and organised Receptionist to join a busy and supportive GP Practice in Brighton.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a patient-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service within primary care.
\nAs the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while providing a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors and callers.

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner

Manage incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries efficiently
\n \n - \n
Book, amend, and cancel appointments using the clinical system
\n \n - \n
Process repeat prescription requests and incoming correspondence
\n \n - \n
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic details
\n \n - \n
Support administrative duties including scanning, filing, and document management
\n \n - \n
Liaise with GPs, clinicians, and the wider practice team
\n \n - \n
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with NHS information governance standards
\n \n

Previous reception or customer service experience

Desirable\n

Previous GP surgery or NHS experience

Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne, or similar clinical systems
