Resident Doctor – Oncology / Haematology

\n £78,000 – £87,000 depending on experience
\n Full Time or Part Time – minimum 24 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Doctor with a background in Medical Oncology or Haematology to join a leading private healthcare provider in London.
\n
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor looking to develop their oncology career within a specialist private hospital environment, working alongside highly experienced consultants, oncology nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
\n
There are opportunities across both outpatient and inpatient services:
\n
- \n
- \n Outpatients: Monday–Friday social hours
- \n Chemotherapy Day Unit: Weekday shifts, either 8:00am–6:00pm or 10:00am–8:00pm
- \n Inpatients: Days, nights and weekends
- \n Full-time or part-time contracts considered, with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week
\n

Key responsibilities include:
\n
- \n
- \n Providing medical cover within the oncology/chemotherapy service
- \n Assessing patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatment
- \n Reviewing outpatient prescriptions and treatment protocols
- \n Managing acute complications and emergencies arising during treatment
- \n Working closely with consultants and the wider MDT to deliver personalised patient care
- \n Supporting the ongoing development of the oncology service

Essential requirements:
\n
- \n
- \n Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- \n Full MRCP
- \n Minimum 3 years’ experience managing oncology patients
- \n Medical Oncology and/or Haematology experience
- \n Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills
\n

For internationally trained doctors, candidates must have commenced specialist training in Medical Oncology or Haematology.
\n
UK-trained doctors with relevant registrar-level oncology or haematology experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
