Role

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in London.

This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services within our NHS trust.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programmes for patients, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Provide expert clinical advice and support to less experienced therapists and support staff.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with trust policies and professional standards.

Contribute to the development and review of clinical policies and procedures.

Engage in continuous professional development and maintain registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Required Qualifications and

Experience: Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Completion of NHS mandatory training.

Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.

Experience in a Band 7 role or equivalent.

Specialised skills in areas such as neurological rehabilitation, mental health, or paediatrics.

Adherence to all trust policies, procedures, and professional standards.
