Requirements

  • QTS, QTLS, or a recognized level 3+ qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or Special Educational Needs.
  • Proven experience working with children or young people with complex needs, including SEMH, ASD, or ADHD.
  • Certification in recognized behavior management strategies (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA, or Price) is highly desirable.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and pivot delivery methods based on the emotional state of the classroom.
  • Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A patient, non-judgmental approach and a commitment to re-engaging marginalized learners.
