Job Description
Flexzo Teach | History Tutor (In-Person / Alternative Provision)
Exciting daytime teaching opportunities across Lytham, Blackpool, Preston, and Sheffield.
We are currently recruiting a passionate History Tutor to deliver tailored, daytime tuition for secondary-aged learners.
Working primarily with council-commissioned Alternative Provision, this role focuses on supporting students with gaps in learning, SEND, and additional needs through structured, individualised instruction in home, community, and centre settings.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualifications in Humanities/History.
Experience delivering secondary History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong ability to adapt resources for learners with additional needs.
Daytime availability and willingness to travel across Lytham, Blackpool, Preston, or deliver within centre provision in Sheffield.
Comfort working in-home and in community settings.
Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
