Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the wraparound provision, ensuring a smooth transition between the school day and the club.
  • Design and implement a varied program of age-appropriate activities, including sports, arts, and quiet study.
  • Supervise and support a team of playworkers/assistants to maintain high standards of care.
  • Act as the designated lead for health and safety within the setting, including managing allergies, first aid, and rigorous safeguarding protocols.

What you need:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare or educational setting.
  • A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) certificate

  • A valid Pediatric First Aid certificate.
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Play work, or Early Years / Level 4+ or a degree in Education/Childcare is highly desirable.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements for out-of-school settings and inclusive practice.
