Flexzo Teach is a recruitment, safeguarding and compliance platform that enables educational settings to book education professionals directly, without the need for an agency, managed service provider or other third-party intermediaries.
Educational settings use the platform for workforce cover, long-term placements and permanent recruitment. We are building local talent pools so more settings can switch on direct bookings in Manchester. To expand coverage where you live, we are inviting Secondary Tutors (in-person and online) to pre-register. When you join, it helps us show local educational settings that they can meet support needs through a direct model, with transparency and direct communication with you.
As a Secondary Tutor (in-person and online) on Flexzo Teach, you can:
- Access flexible tutoring opportunities with local educational settings (short-term, long-term and ongoing support opportunities)
- Set your availability and preferred working patterns, including in-person and/or online delivery
- Set your hourly rate with full transparency
- Be visible to settings building internal staff banks and collaborative staff banks, meaning you may also be requested for interview as schools and trusts expand their local banks
Depending on the education provision, you may support with:
- Delivering tutoring sessions in line with agreed objectives and the setting’s priorities (in-person or online)
- Planning and adapting learning activities to meet learner needs, including appropriate differentiation and reasonable adjustments where required
- Following safeguarding and compliance processes and escalating concerns in line with setting policy
Experience tutoring learners in an educational setting or in a structured tutoring environment or strong relevant teaching/learning support experience.
DBS certificate (or willingness to complete one if required, particularly for in-person delivery).
Confidence delivering sessions in-person and/or online, with clear communication and reliable professional conduct.
