Mentoring Support Tutors who specialize in student wellbeing, engagement, and academic confidence.

  • Proven experience or a strong understanding of how to support students transitioning back into mainstream education after periods of absence, exclusion, or school refusal.
  • Solid experience supporting diverse learning and emotional needs, including pupils with SEND (e. g., ASD, ADHD, anxiety) or those requiring targeted social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) support.

All applicants must have prior SEN experience.

  • Ability to deliver targeted catch-up support or mentoring across core subject frameworks (English and Mathematics) to help students bridge learning gaps during their transition.
  • A valid right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).

You must be able to commute to Hounslow and our wider primary operating areas for your initial interview.

  • A highly compassionate, patient, and resilient approach combined with exceptional communication skills suitable for collaborating with vulnerable learners, parents, and school staff.

Note on In-Person Interviews

To ensure the highest quality of safeguarding and connection, all first interviews are conducted in person, even if you ultimately choose to mentor remotely.

You must be able to travel to one of our operating areas (such as London/Surrey) for this stage.
