Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience may be from education, Alternative Provision, youth work, SEND, pastoral or mentoring roles
- Strong belief in child-centred, relational education
- Ability to adapt learning to individual needs and emotional readiness
- Calm, reflective and emotionally intelligent approach
- Confidence supporting learners who are disengaged or anxious about education
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent experience (not essential)
- Experience in Alternative Provision, SEMH or specialist settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
- Confidence using digital tools to capture learning and progress
- Outdoor learning, creative or project-based learning experience
