What You Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or demonstrated leadership experience within an SEMH or Alternative Provision (AP) setting is required.
- Proven background in curriculum or pastoral leadership, with strong organizational skills to manage staff performance, daily rotas, and behaviour management systems.
- Team Teach training (or equivalent positive behaviour management training) is highly preferred.
- Track record in pastoral support, with skills in guiding young people facing social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges and complex behaviours.
- Strong operational leadership to manage daily site routines, oversee staff, and work effectively alongside parents, external multi-agency networks, and local authorities.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where processes are evolving, bringing the vision and adaptability needed to build effective systems.
- A valid right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
