Roles & Responsibilities

You will guide young people through core subjects with a specialized focus on Geography up to A-Level. You will:

  • Plan and teach physical, human, and environmental geography topics.

  • Teach geographical skills, including data analysis, map reading, and graphical interpretation.

What you’ll need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Solid knowledge of physical and human Geography, including curriculum requirements up to A-Level.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in Geography or a related environmental field.
  • Ability to explain complex global systems and environmental theories clearly to learners aged 5-19.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Independence, strong time management, and teaching/tutoring experience (SEN/SEMH experience is a plus).
