Educational settings use the platform for workforce cover, long-term placements and permanent recruitment. We are building local talent pools so more settings can switch on direct bookings in Blackpool. To expand coverage where you live, we are inviting Class Teachers to pre-register. When you join, it helps us show local educational settings that they can meet cover needs through a direct model, with transparency and direct communication with you.
As a Class Teacher on Flexzo Teach, you can:
- Access flexible work across local educational settings (short-term cover, long-term placements and permanent opportunities)
- Set your hourly or day rate with full transparency
- Be visible to settings building internal staff banks and collaborative staff banks, meaning you may also be requested for interview as schools and trusts expand their local banks
- Access opportunities across a range of key stages and settings, depending on your experience and preferences
Depending on the education provision, you may support with:
- Delivering planned learning in line with the setting’s curriculum and policies
- Maintaining a purposeful learning environment and supporting behaviour expectations in line with setting policy
- Adapting learning activities to support inclusive practice, including reasonable adjustments where required
- Working collaboratively with support staff and wider education teams
- Following safeguarding and compliance processes and escalating concerns in line with setting policy
Qualifications required include Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (as required by the setting) and experience teaching in an educational setting relevant to the role (e.g., DBS certificate or willingness to complete one if required). Strong classroom practice, communication, and professional conduct in education settings are essential.
