Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the wraparound provision, ensuring a smooth transition between the school day and the club.
- Design and implement a varied program of age-appropriate activities, including sports, arts, and quiet study.
- Supervise and support a team of playworkers/assistants to maintain high standards of care.
- Act as the designated lead for health and safety within the setting, including managing allergies, first aid, and rigorous safeguarding protocols.
- Maintain professional communication with parents, school staff, and external stakeholders.
What you need:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare or educational setting.
- A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) certificate
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A valid Pediatric First Aid certificate.
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Play work, or Early Years / Level 4+ or a degree in Education/Childcare is highly desirable.
- Right to Work in the UK.
