What you need
- You must be available during school hours (Monday to Friday) to deliver targeted interventions, catch-up sessions, and daytime tutoring.
- Strong experience delivering targeted interventions or tutoring across Mathematics and Science (Primary/Secondary level), or holding a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS/QTLS).
- Proven experience supporting diverse learning needs, including pupils with SEND (e.g., ASD, dyslexia, ADHD) or those requiring targeted catch-up support.
- All applicants must have prior SEN experience.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum, primary/secondary assessment frameworks, and the ability to implement tailored lesson plans and track student progress effectively.
- A valid right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).
- You must also be able to commute to Amersham or one of our wider operating areas (London, Surrey, Manchester, or Kent) for your initial interview.
- A compassionate approach combined with exceptional communication skills suitable for collaborating with young learners, parents, and school staff.
