Urology Consultant

Consultant Urologist Rate – £120 (Negotiable) Contract: 12 Months Full time / Flexible / Part-time considered Start Date: ASAP We are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in Salisbury recruit a Consultant Urologist to join a well-established and supportive urology service. however, part-time working, job sharing, and other flexible working arrangements will be fully considered for suitably qualified applicants and discussed at shortlisting stage. Applications are welcomed from established consultants and senior trainees who will be within six months of completing specialist training at the time of the Advisory Appointments Committee. The successful candidate will have completed specialist training in urology and be entered on the GMC Specialist Register prior to taking up post. Deliver consultant-level urology care, applying sound clinical judgement and evidence-based practice. Manage complex clinical cases, including effective risk assessment, prioritisation, and escalation where appropriate. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and service efficiency. Actively contribute to the development and improvement of urology services, aligned with Trust and NHS performance targets. Participate in the education and training of junior doctors, trainees, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications & Specialist Training Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Urology Evidence of experience working at consultant level in urology Experience managing clinical risk and prioritising patient need Commitment to meeting Trust and NHS performance targets Ability to teach and inspire trainees and colleagues Experience in clinical audit and applying research findings to clinical practice
