About The Role

We are recruiting a Band 5 ADHD Nurse to support a growing ADHD clinic service, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and ongoing support for patients with ADHD.

ADHD Nurse - Band 5

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Contract Type: Flexible

Salary: Competitive

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with an interest in neurodevelopmental services and mental health to develop their experience within a supportive and flexible clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ADHD assessment and follow-up clinics
  • Assist with patient monitoring, reviews, and care coordination
  • Undertake physical health observations and medication monitoring where appropriate
  • Provide patient and family education regarding ADHD management and treatment pathways
  • Support clinicians with clinical documentation and care planning
  • Maintain accurate patient records in line with clinical governance standards
  • Liaise with GPs, schools, mental health teams, and wider multidisciplinary services
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centred support throughout the treatment pathway

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience within mental health, CAMHS, neurodevelopmental, or community services
  • Strong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach

Desirable

  • Previous experience supporting ADHD or neurodevelopmental clinics
  • Experience with medication monitoring and physical health observations
  • Knowledge of ADHD treatment pathways and medications
  • Experience working within remote or virtual clinical services
