We are working in partnership with an NHS service in Oxford to recruit a Clinical Perfusionist.
Deliver high-quality clinical perfusion services in line with departmental, professional, and national standards.
Undertake a full range of adult perfusion techniques, using perfusion equipment and devices safely and effectively.
Support complex cardiac procedures, including minimally invasive valve surgery and cardiopulmonary bypass.
Perform and interpret point-of-care testing, including TEG, to support safe clinical decision-making.
Work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of the multidisciplinary cardiac team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with governance, audit, and quality assurance requirements.
Contribute to ongoing professional development, service improvement, and the maintenance of high clinical standards.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Perfusion Science or equivalent
- Basic Accreditation with the Society of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland (SCPS)
- Active registration with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland (CCPS)
- Experience across a range of adult perfusion techniques
- Competence in point-of-care testing, including TEG
