About the role
We are working in partnership with an NHS service in Oxford to recruit a Consultant Clinical Oncologist experienced in Urology Malignancy to join a supportive and forward-thinking department on a substantive basis. Experience in Gynaecological Oncology would be a bonus. The department places strong emphasis on job satisfaction, wellbeing, and work–life balance, recognising their importance in building sustainable oncology services. Key Responsibilities
- Take clinical ownership for a defined, site-specific workload within breast oncology and an additional tumour site.
- Contribute to medical leadership, service development, and innovation within oncology services.
- Support and provide training and supervision to non-consultant grade doctors.
- Promote interdisciplinary working within the department and across the wider hospital.
- Ensure care is delivered in line with current standards and evidence-based practice.
- Participate in clinical audit, including departmental and multidisciplinary audit programmes.
- Contribute to research activity and innovative practice within oncology.
