About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCPC-registered Radiographer with a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography (or working towards it) to join our NHS Client. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality breast imaging services, supporting the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease, and making a real difference to the lives of our patients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake high-quality mammography imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and national standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of compassionate, safe, and effective care for all service users.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support screening and symptomatic services.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving clinical standards and service development.
  • Supervise and support less experienced colleagues, including Radiographers and Assistants (if applicable).

Essential Criteria

  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography
  • HCPC Registration
  • Postgraduate Award in Mammography Practice (or working towards it)
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in supervising Radiographers and/or Assistant Practitioners
  • Experience in supporting the clinical education of colleagues
