We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCPC-registered Radiographer with a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography (or working towards it) to join our NHS Client. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality breast imaging services, supporting the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease, and making a real difference to the lives of our patients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake high-quality mammography imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and national standards.
- Ensure the delivery of compassionate, safe, and effective care for all service users.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support screening and symptomatic services.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving clinical standards and service development.
- Supervise and support less experienced colleagues, including Radiographers and Assistants (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Radiography
- HCPC Registration
- Postgraduate Award in Mammography Practice (or working towards it)
- Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
- Experience in supervising Radiographers and/or Assistant Practitioners
- Experience in supporting the clinical education of colleagues
