We are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in Oxfordshire to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse / Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Band 8a) to join a dynamic and supportive clinical service.
This is an established advanced practice role, offering a high degree of autonomy, clinical decision-making, and leadership responsibility. You will practise in line with the NHS England Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice, delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care across the four pillars of advanced practice: Clinical, Leadership & Management, Education, and Research.
You will work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care, while contributing to service development and workforce transformation.
Person Specification
- Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC)
- MSc (Level 7) in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent (including independent prescribing where required)
- Significant post-registration experience and expertise within relevant specialty
- Recognised Advanced Practice credential (NHSE or professional body)
- Experience of research activity, service evaluation, or publication
- Advanced Life Support qualification relevant to specialty
