About the Role

We are working with an NHS service in London to recruit an experienced and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Audiologist to join a supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people by delivering high-quality, family-centred audiology care.

You will work with children from 7 months to 18 years, carrying out a full range of paediatric hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings in line with NHS guidelines. While experience is essential, you’ll be well supported to integrate into the service and develop within the role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out paediatric hearing assessments using Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), Play Audiometry, and objective testing including OAEs and tympanometry.
  • Undertake paediatric hearing aid fittings and reviews in line with recognised clinical guidelines.
  • Deliver care that is safe, compassionate, and child-centred, supporting children, young people, and their families throughout the assessment and intervention process.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and inclusive service culture.

Essential Requirements

  • BSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalent
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Proven experience in paediatric audiology, including VRA and Play Audiometry
  • Experience in hearing aid reviews for patients under 18
  • BSL skills or Deaf Awareness training

Desirable

  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) in paediatric audiology
