About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced A&E SpR to join the Emergency Department at an NHS Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic Emergency Department, managing a wide range of acute presentations while supporting junior medical staff within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across both Majors and Minors within the Emergency Department
- Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency presentations safely and effectively
- Support and supervise junior doctors during shifts
- Work collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary Emergency Medicine team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and patient flow within the department
What We’re Looking For
- Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
- Previous UK Emergency Medicine experience at SpR level or above
- Valid ALS and ATLS certification
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
