We are looking for compassionate and reliable Female Domiciliary Care Workers to join a growing home care team supporting people within their own homes across Oxford, Bicester, Kidlington and the surrounding villages. This role involves providing person-centred care and support to predominantly elderly service users, helping them remain independent, comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. You will be supporting individuals with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship and daily living tasks.

We are seeking candidates who genuinely care about improving the lives of others and who can demonstrate empathy, professionalism and respect when working with vulnerable adults.

Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts available including:
  • Morning shifts: 7:00am - 2:00pm
  • Evening shifts: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
  • Waking nights: 8:00pm - 8:00am
  • Alternate weekends required
  • Visits typically range from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality personal care
  • Supporting with washing, dressing and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Preparing meals and supporting hydration
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting mobility and independence
  • Completing care records accurately
  • Following care plans and risk assessments
  • Identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns
  • Promoting dignity, choice and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

  • Female applicants only due to the nature of personal care provided
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Previous domiciliary care or care home experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible and dependable approach to work
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable adults
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding care

  • DBS arranged by the employer
  • References and right-to-work checks required
