We are a nurse-led home care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Our management team is actively involved in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring our service users receive outstanding support whilst our care staff receive the guidance, training and support they need to succeed.
We pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive and hands-on. Every service user is personally known to our management team, allowing us to deliver truly personalised care and maintain the highest standards across our services.
The Role: We are currently recruiting Female Domiciliary Care Assistants to support service users across High Wycombe, Amersham and Aylesbury. The majority of our service users are aged 65 and over, although we also support younger adults with varying care needs. You will provide compassionate care and support that enables individuals to remain independent within their own homes.
This role requires flexibility as care calls are delivered throughout the day, including mornings, lunchtime visits, tea calls and evening visits. Typical shift times include:
- Morning calls from 6:00am/7:00am
- Lunch calls between 11:00am and 2:00pm
- Tea calls from 4:00pm onwards
- Evening calls until approximately 8:30pm
We can offer consistent work for carers who are available for a minimum of 6 hours per day, with many carers working between 6 and 8 hours daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Assisting with washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting with medication administration
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting service users with mobility where required
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Following care plans and company policies
- Identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns
- Promoting independence and choice at all times
What We Are Looking For:
- Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
- Previous care experience is desirable
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work across High Wycombe, Amersham and Aylesbury
