Some leadership roles are about managing operations. This one is about helping people remain connected to the life they love. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a growing domiciliary care service supporting people to live safely, independently, and comfortably within their own homes. This is an opportunity to lead a service that believes care should feel personal, empowering, and relationship-led—where people are supported not just physically, but emotionally and socially too. The organisation is passionate about helping people stay connected to the things that matter most to them, while delivering outstanding standards of home care.

The Heart of the Role

As Registered Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of a domiciliary care service, ensuring clients receive safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care tailored around their individual needs and routines. You’ll create a culture where both clients and staff feel genuinely valued, supported, and respected—leading with warmth, professionalism, and a strong commitment to person‑centred care. This role is perfect for someone who understands that excellent home care isn’t just about tasks and timings. It’s about building trust, promoting independence, reducing isolation, and helping people continue living life on their own terms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Service Leadership
    • Overseeing the daily operation of the domiciliary care service
    • Leading and developing a team of Care Professionals and office staff
    • Creating a positive, supportive, and person‑centred culture
    • Ensuring clients receive consistent, high‑quality care tailored to their needs
  • Compliance & Quality
    • Maintaining full CQC compliance and regulatory standards
    • Managing safeguarding, audits, care planning, and quality assurance processes
    • Ensuring care plans and documentation remain accurate and up to date
    • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent care standards
  • Staff Management
    • Recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance management
    • Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training
    • Managing rotas, staffing levels, and care delivery performance
    • Building a motivated, stable, and compassionate workforce
  • Growth & Business Development
    • Supporting the continued growth of the service
    • Building strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and private clients
    • Supporting the onboarding of new care packages and increasing hours safely and sustainably
    • Contributing to occupancy growth and service development opportunities
  • Operational Responsibilities
    • Managing budgets and service performance
    • Participating in on‑call duties as part of the role
    • Supporting out‑of‑hours issues and ensuring continuity of care when required
    • Maintaining strong communication between clients, families, staff, and external professionals

What Makes This Service Different

  • Remain independent within their own homes
  • Stay connected to family, hobbies, and the community
  • Feel safe, respected, and understood
  • Receive care that is tailored around their life, not just their care needs

There is also a strong belief that exceptional care starts with exceptional carers—creating a culture where staff feel appreciated, empowered, and supported to grow.

Why This Role Matters
