Contract: Full Time | Permanent

Some leadership roles are about managing services. This one is about helping people rebuild confidence, independence, and a better future. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a growing Supported Living service that supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, physical disabilities, and more complex support requirements.

This is an opportunity to lead a service where care is genuinely person-centred, where every individual is supported with dignity, respect, compassion, and encouragement to live as independently as possible within their own community.

The Heart of the Role

As Registered Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of supported living services, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, tailored support that empowers them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. You’ll create a culture where people feel safe, listened to, and valued, while leading a staff team that shares the same commitment to compassionate, relationship-led support. This is a role for someone who understands that outstanding care is about more than compliance. It’s about helping people gain confidence, develop life skills, build independence, and feel part of their community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the daily operation of supported living services
  • Creating a positive, empowering, and person-centred culture
  • Supporting individuals to maximise independence and achieve personal goals
  • Ensuring support plans reflect each person’s unique needs, wishes, and aspirations

Compliance & Quality

  • Maintaining full CQC compliance and regulatory standards
  • Managing safeguarding, audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes
  • Ensuring care plans and documentation remain accurate and person-centred
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the service

Staff Management

  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing support staff
  • Conducting supervisions, appraisals, and performance management
  • Managing rotas, staffing levels, and overall service performance
  • Creating a supportive environment where staff feel valued and motivated

Growth & Service Development

  • Supporting referrals, assessments, and onboarding new service users
  • Building strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families
  • Supporting occupancy growth and service development opportunities
  • Ensuring positive outcomes for both privately funded and local authority-funded packages

Operational Responsibilities

  • Managing budgets and service performance
  • Participating in on-call responsibilities where required
  • Maintaining effective communication across all stakeholders and teams

What Makes This Service Different

This service is built around the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently and confidently as possible, regardless of their support needs. The focus is on:

  • Promoting independence and recovery
  • Encouraging social inclusion and community engagement
  • Helping individuals develop life skills and confidence
  • Delivering flexible, tailored support packages centred around the individual.

Support is never “one-size-fits-all.” Every person is treated as an individual, with care shaped around their goals, choices, and future aspirations.

Why This Role Matters

Behind every outstanding supported living service is a leader who creates stability, reassurance, and opportunity, someone who helps people feel empowered to live life on their own terms. Your leadership won’t just manage a service. It will help shape lives, futures, and possibilities.

If this feels like the kind of leadership role you’ve been searching for, and if you believe you can make a meaningful difference through compassionate, high-quality support, we’d love to hear from you.
