We are seeking caring and committed Support Workers to join a growing care team supporting both children and adults within their homes and local communities. This is a varied role where you may be supporting older adults to maintain their independence, or assisting children and young people with disabilities to access activities, develop life skills and engage with their communities. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference and who understand the importance of providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence and choice.

Working Patterns:

Flexible shifts are available across a seven-day service, including: early shifts from 7:00am, day shifts, evening shifts until approximately 10:00pm, waking nights from 10:00pm to 7:00am, community outreach support for children and young people, school collection and activity-based support where required. Some support packages are delivered as longer block shifts of up to four hours, while others may vary depending on individual client needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months' experience within a care or support setting
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred, particularly for Surrey-based roles
  • Previous experience supporting vulnerable adults, children or individuals with disabilities is desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and professional approach
  • Flexible attitude towards working patterns
  • Genuine passion for helping others
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compliance Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • DBS funded by the employer
  • Applicants with minor driving offences may be considered following a risk assessment
  • One professional reference required
  • One character reference required
  • Right to work documentation required
