The team is responsible for Site Resiliency Engineering and Incident Management. You will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and improving our SaaS environment. The SaaS infrastructure technology includes VMware. AWS, Azure, Citrix, Windows, Linux and Cisco., making heavy use of configuration management, automation, and source control best practices.ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and remediate any performance, capacity issues and resiliency weaknesses in the SaaS Infrastructure. (active Ops Ramp / SW Monitoring etc.)Ensure resiliency best practices are followed throughout the technology stackImplement with discipline SMEs resilient design in the technology stackProvide L2-3 support for incidents, Critical and the hosting and operations of our SaaS solutionsOversee and implement scalable, and robust Engineering best practice design.Hands-on implementation of Ad HOC ‘special projects’ to improve the capabilities of the SaaS platforms.Perform Incident Management. Diagnosis and remediation of complex issues across servers, storage, infrastructure, virtualization, and Citrix environmentsParticipation in critical ITS processes (Problem, Change, configuration and Incident management etc.).Drive process improvements, and implementation of operational best practices including client onboarding / offboarding, technology deployment standards and permission to operate documentationParticipation in Weekend on call schedule.On site Datacenter visits hands on initiativesParticipate in creation of RCA for critical outagesOngoing support of VSD teamActively engage in the effort of ITS achieving a more proactive and preventative posture in all aspects of the technology infrastructurePatch managementAutomate tasks with basic scriptingTroubleshoot incidents and handle escalations to vendors where appropriateProvide system performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planningParticipate in any and all technology projects / BAU initiatives designed to better service the firm.RequirementsSystems administration experience across Windows, VMware, Citrix, & StorageStrong knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
