Flexpress Ltd. are a successful and rapidly expanding trade printing company based in Leicester and have an exciting and rare opportunity for a digital print operative to run and maintain one of the most advanced digital printing presses in the world - our brand new HP Indigo 120K arriving next month.
Responsibilities
- Working a double-day shift, rotating two-weekly, the working hours will be:
- Week 1 - 5.30am to 2pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 12.00 noon Friday
- Week 2 - 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday, 12 noon to 6pm Friday
The position benefits from 28 days annual leave, free parking, a productivity bonus and attendance bonus. A good salary is offered for this position dependent upon experience. It is a requirement of the position that you are prepared to work overtime when necessary at 1.5x standard pay.
The successful candidate will be responsible for printing high quality B2+ (750 x 530mm) printed sheets on a variety of paper-based materials ready for the finishing department. A conscientious approach and keen eye for detail, along with a tidy, organised nature are essential.
Qualifications
- Ideally you will have had HP Indigo experience and be trained to Level 1 or 2, but consideration will be given to anyone with relevant experience on high-volume commercial printing machinery as training to HP Indigo Level 2 is provided as part of the package.
- A decent level of Maths and English are also required as are the abilities to work both independently and as part of a team.
