The Opportunity
Weâre looking for a highly capable Enterprise Account Manager to join the Demand team and support the growth of Flexport in the region. Our account management team focuses on closing renewal, upsell and crossâsell opportunities from existing accounts. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will own the customer experience from start to finish. You will help the customers grow and realize the Flexport value proposition by deeply understanding the clientâs supply chain and partnering to find solutions for them. This role is ideal for someone with experience in account management and/or sales, and interested in supply chain and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Use your knowledge of the client to identify, develop, and encourage upsell, crossâsell, and renewal opportunities.
- Own assigned clients' P&L, reporting on the client's financials and ensuring financially sustainable partnerships.
- Oversee business reviews and coordinate routine client interactions to ensure that clients fully experience the value offered by Flexport, while also collecting feedback and insights.
- Meet regularly with clients to monitor the account health and find ways to improve on their current supply chain experience.
- Maintain Salesforce account records and opportunity pipeline.
- Continue to expand your knowledge of supply chain processes through internal and external training offerings to best enable you to act as a trusted advisor.
- Cultivate and grow relationships with key business stakeholders that empower the client and deepen the relationship with Flexport.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a sales/account management or a clientâfacing role.
- Proven track record of (cross)selling a product and proven success building and maintaining longâterm commercial relationships.
- Skills: excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation.
- A clientâcentric mindset: obsessed with client outcomes, doing what it takes to deliver the client's expectations, understanding your clientâs current and future business goals and challenges and translating those into relevant solutions.
- Handsâon, commercialâoriented, structured thinking with strong problemâsolving skills.
- Deeply curious with a strong focus on growing your customers through a consultative approach.
- Nextâlevel attention to detail: enjoy combing through metrics and details to identify opportunities to improve internally or better manage the client relationship.
- Strong business acumen.
- A background in logistics or freight forwarding is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
