In our role as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), we focus on the disposable component of diagnostic devices and have significant expertise with point of care (POC) in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests. We provide full assay development services and have impressive inhouse engineering and manufacturing capabilities, allowing us to fabricate biosensors and assemble finished test cartridges; indeed, this extends to the formulation and deposition of chemistries.
Our modern facility is based in Livingston, central Scotland, less than 20 minutes from Edinburgh airport and 40 minutes from Glasgow. With a mixture of UK and international clients, we are a forward-looking organisation with an exciting future.
Role / Assignment / Project Description
With clients in the UK, Europe and North America, FlexMedical Solutions knows that a global demand exists for our products and services. However, to truly exploit the opportunity the company must further enhance our digital presence and improve the process of identifying and converting leads.
This 3-month project promises to be full on and rewarding for you and the company! Not only will you get involved in flexing your creative juices to develop our digital marketing channels, you’ll also play a crucial part in the process that follows as a result of your on point and eye catching content.
You’ll be responsible for collating and maintaining data generated through content attraction, used to identify potential business opportunities and leads. Providing direct support to our Chief Executive, you’ll take the lead on our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, helping to improve this and providing important ‘back office’ support to the CEO, capturing, analysing, and reporting on data. You’ll also be involved in customer relationship development, ensuring prospective clients are kept up to date on stage of their enquiry.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the CEO, you will: –
- Build on the company social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn) ensuring engaging content is shared on a regular basis
- Review our company website, identify any out of date content and update as required
- Become expert in the use of the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Zoho, optimising functionality, ensuring data is kept up to date and delivering useful reports as required
- Ensure prospective clients remain informed throughout the proposal process and internal actions are executed in a timely fashion.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
- Attained or studying towards relevant degree in sales / marketing / digital
- Familiar with cloud based CRM solutions
- Highly literate in IT systems
- Excellent analytical skills
- Capable of writing / creating engaging, technically meaningful blogs and content
- Proficient communicator (verbal and written)
- Able to grow content on socials
- Scientific or engineering knowledge
- Experienced in Zoho, CRM
