The Operations Representative represents Flexjet in a positive and professional manner while serving as a member of our Dedicated Terminal team. This role is primarily responsible for providing aviation ground support services to crew members by performing all facets of the ground handling operation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide world-class service during every interaction with our crew members and clientele to maintain long term relationships.
- Liaise with airport personnel in ensuring all aircraft are clean, fueled, and hangered as appropriate.
- Partner with ground transportation companies to ensure transportation has been confirmed for clients.
- Provide appropriate continuous assistance as necessary to ensure good customer relations with crew members and clientele.
- Initiate emergency response procedures when required.
- Contribute and participate in any customer appreciation and promotional events, such as birthdays or anniversaries.
- Comply with all airport authority rules and regulations and airport security requirements.
- Participate in continuous airport training and company designed curriculum.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate.
- Previous experience in FBO services, fuel handling experience, and customer service preferred.
- Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
- Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong working knowledge of FBO operations, customer service principles, and the Flexjet service philosophy.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Successful candidate must be able to respond calmly and handle many customers' demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere to anticipate clientele or crew member needs or to resolve problems quickly.
- Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license.
SCHEDULE
