DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all flights.
  • Serve as a main point of contact between different departments within the company.
  • Monitor and ensure that the Operations controllers, Schedulers, and Crew dispatchers are performing their designated duties.
  • Ensure effective management of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events by involving key stakeholders.
  • Handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during flights.
  • Handle last-minute changes or requests, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and aviation regulations.
  • Oversee the selection and scheduling of flight crews, including pilots and cabin attendants.
  • Be the primary escalation point of contact for Owner and Client services.
  • Coordinate with aircraft maintenance to ensure that all aircraft are well-maintained and airworthy.
  • Assist in managing operational costs and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, and customer interactions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Assist in the training and development of new employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience within an aviation environment, preferably Business Aviation in a Supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of fractional operations; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of International Operations and worldwide flight planning including ETOPS.
  • Scheduling experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work productively, independently or within a team.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required.
  • Further language skills are an advantage.
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism while multi-tasking various real-time issues.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills are essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work early & late shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
