DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day operations.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all flights.
- Serve as a main point of contact between different departments within the company.
- Monitor and ensure that the Operations controllers, Schedulers, and Crew dispatchers are performing their designated duties.
- Ensure effective management of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events by involving key stakeholders.
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during flights.
- Handle last-minute changes or requests, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and aviation regulations.
- Oversee the selection and scheduling of flight crews, including pilots and cabin attendants.
- Be the primary escalation point of contact for Owner and Client services.
- Coordinate with aircraft maintenance to ensure that all aircraft are well-maintained and airworthy.
- Assist in managing operational costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, and customer interactions.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Assist in the training and development of new employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience within an aviation environment, preferably Business Aviation in a Supervisory role.
- Knowledge of fractional operations; equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
- Strong understanding of International Operations and worldwide flight planning including ETOPS.
- Scheduling experience is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work productively, independently or within a team.
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills are required.
- Further language skills are an advantage.
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism while multi-tasking various real-time issues.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills are essential.
- Ability and willingness to work early & late shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
