The Global Country Access Specialist will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of international flights, maintaining high attention to detail, focus, and adaptability to our dynamic flight schedule.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Submit and manage applications for airport slots and PPRs (prior permissions requests), landing, parking, and overflight permits for all flights.
- Submit and manage requests for ground handling services, fuel, crew visas on arrival, and other ground-related arrangements (special services) for all flights.
- Assist in arranging catering, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
- Coordinate customs and immigration processes: General Declarations, APIS transmissions, outbound/inbound clearances, and crew visas on arrival.
- Ensure crew members and passengers meet all entry requirements for countries being visited.
- Provide external agents with all applicable aircraft documents required for trip planning.
- Verify the eligibility of aircraft to fly internationally.
- Ensure the safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Understand and interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in arranging crew hotels and transportation internationally as required.
- Monitor weather and other events that could impact aircraft operations.
- Assist with research of flight and service deviations.
- Report non-compliance observations related to safety, security, or quality issues.
- Make rapid decisions concerning safety, regulations, and operational economy.
- Ensure efficient and timely communication of all international flight details.
- Notify relevant teams of any unforeseen situations or changes in international flights that may affect operations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Dispatch License and Business Aviation knowledge are considered a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
- Familiarity with core competencies including international operations, customs/immigration requirements, airport access coordination (landing permissions, slots, PPRs, etc.), handling services, weather trends, and ATC flow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, capable of handling multiple tasks, and meeting targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
