Reporting to the Crew Dispatch Manager, the Senior Crew Dispatcher works closely with crew members to ensure a successful execution of the daily flight schedule. Primary responsibilities include the duty day management to ensure compliance with OM A Chapter 7 EASA Flight Time Limitations Scheme, Crew communication, air-and-ground crew logistics procurement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assign crew members to aircraft to maximise trip coverage.
- Ensure that all crew member duty times operate in accordance with OM A Chapter 7, EASA Flight Time Limitations Scheme.
- Ensure that crew rosters are scheduled across our two AOC\’s.
- Arrange all crew travel while on duty and positioning to an aircraft, traveling home from aircraft, and all transitions between aircraft
- Assess demand for upcoming day and provides recommendations for crew duty times based on geographic factors, cabin type, and departure time demand.
- Coordinate with training department on travel for training check rides and providing training availability within the roster schedule to ensure Training events are performed outside of the peak flying seasons.
- Work closely with the TCC Managers and specialists on schedule optimization considering optimum locations for crew changes, minimising crew positioning and duty time.
- Communicate changes to appropriate Operation departments.
- Escalate flight concerns to the on duty TCC manager when necessary
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the aviation industry ( desirable)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess the legal ability to work in the United Kingdom

knowledge of EASA or CAP 371 regulations in regards to crew FTL (Flight Time Limitations) is desirable.
- Unphased in decision making.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a team atmosphere, but is also able to make decisions of their own in order to manage a flexible flying schedule.
- Successful candidate must be able to respond calmly, work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise tasks.

- Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
