Flexjet Europe, a private aviation company that operates the world's most luxurious and exclusive private jets, is currently searching for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft system.
- Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
- Complete all required maintenance records accurately, including accurate reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned.
- Support all company policies and safety programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Present a clean and neat work area.
- Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer.
- Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- B1 or B1/B2 License; B1.3 for rotary aircraft desired.
- UK CAA and EASA License.
- Proven experience directly related aviation experience (corporate aircraft experience preferred).
- Type ratings on GVI, EMB550 and S76 desired.
- Good working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess the legal ability to work in the United Kingdom.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self‑directed, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure and time constraints with a positive attitude and environment.
- Confident working in a dynamic, fast‑paced atmosphere and calm under pressure.
- Engaging individual with a can‑do attitude comfortable working towards individual goals while contributing in a team environment.
- Maintains solid negotiating and decision‑making skills.
- Able to delegate and follow up appropriately.
- Multi‑task within a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.
- Proven inspection competencies.
- Basic set of hand tools; specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company.
- Valid state driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
