Flexjet Europe, a private aviation company that operates the world's most luxurious and exclusive private jets, is currently searching for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely.

DUTIES

  • Assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems.
  • Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
  • Complete all required maintenance records accurately, including accurate reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned.
  • Support all company policies and safety programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Present a clean and neat work area.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer.
  • Perform other related duties; specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company.
  • Valid state driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

  • Stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 5 kg and occasionally lift and move up to 22.5 kg.
  • Have specific vision abilities including close, distance, colour, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
