We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Food Safety Systems Controller for one of our clients based in Potton, Sandy to support the Technical Department in maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the internal audit schedule, track corrective actions, and maintain departmental records.
  • Control and maintain the Internal Hold Log, ensuring all product holds are accurately recorded and monitored.
  • Oversee shelf-life systems to ensure product compliance and data accuracy.
  • Manage Positive Release processes, ensuring only compliant products are approved for dispatch.
  • Verify and maintain Certificates of Conformity (COC) and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
  • Support Food Safety Friday initiatives to help strengthen food safety culture across the site.
  • Participate in customer audits, site visits, and traceability exercises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • A-level education or equivalent.
  • Degree or diploma in a food-related subject preferred, or relevant industry experience.
