We are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Assistant / Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day management of health & safety, compliance, and administration across our projects and sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and an interest in health & safety and HR support within a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary depending on business and site requirements.
Salary
Pay dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining document control systems
- Assisting with health & safety compliance and administration
- Carrying out site audits and inspections
- Coordinating onboarding and inductions for new operatives
- Maintaining training records, certificates, and compliance documentation
- Supporting accident and incident reporting procedures
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and management
- Assisting with HR-related administration and employee records
- General office and compliance administration duties
Requirements
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
