We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 driver for one of our clients in Edinburgh to transport goods safely and efficiently to and from airport locations. The role involves completing scheduled deliveries and ensuring all paperwork and vehicle checks are completed accurately.
Duties
- Deliver goods safely to the airport terminals, warehouses and cargo areas
- Load and unload deliveries when required
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Deliver goods to designated locations within specified timeframes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during loading, transit, and unloading processes
Experience
- Prior experience in delivery driving is highly desirable
- Familiarity with road regulations and safe driving practices for HGVs
- Valid UK driving licence with a Category C (Class 2) entitlement
- Knowledge of flatbed operations and securing loads efficiently is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively whilst maintaining safety standards
