Excavator (Shovel) Operator – Luton
Location: Luton Pay: £18.00–£25.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm Overtime: Weekend work available when required
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Excavator (Shovel) Operator to join our growing team in Luton.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, and loading works.
- Complete daily machine checks and report any defects.
- Follow site plans and work closely with site supervisors and other trades.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator card.
- Previous experience operating excavators on construction sites.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
