With decades of industry presence and a strong portfolio of national clients across retail, transport, and commercial environments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business where engineers are genuinely valued and retained long-term.
The Role:
- Installation, servicing, and repair of roller shutters and sliding/folding door systems
- Working across a variety of clean, modern environments including shopping centres, airports, and service stations
- Nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays and night work (planned in advance where possible)
- Working in a small, professional team with a strong focus on safety and quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Door / Shutter Engineer
- CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker Door Engineer)
- IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Strong practical skills (cutting, drilling, installation)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass security clearance (including 5-year traceable history and clean record)
Desirable:
- Electrical experience (advantageous but not essential)
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Core hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-18:00
- Overtime available (enhanced rates up to x1.5)
